Gifted Education Specialty Endorsement

Learn effective instructional strategies and curricular solutions to meet the academic and social emotional needs of gifted learners in ways that equitably challenge and serve all learners in the classroom. You can earn the specialty endorsement on its own or concurrently with your M.A.T. in Gifted Education & Equitable Instruction or your M.Ed. in Teaching聽and Learning

EDG 581 Field Study and Action Research (Minimum of 40 hours in a supervised setting, taken after completion of all required coursework. Complete in your district location or arrange with the supervisor.) 1
Portfolio Final assessment to demonstrate evidence of knowledge and skills to meet Washington state standards and competencies.  

Completing the Gifted Education Specialty Endorsement has changed my life immensely by uncovering a passion for providing equal access to highly capable program services to students from diverse backgrounds and underrepresented populations.
